It is possible to contact Legal Aid in the following ways:

 

1. You can – during the period 19.00-20.30 (Fridays, however, only until 20.00) - call us and make an appointment on telephone number 33110678.

If you provide your telephone number, we will call you the same evening and agree on what should happen.

(If you already have a case with us, you must call on the day of the week to which your case is linked. (Case number and day of the week appear on the pink card you have received)).

 

 

2. You can appear in Legal Aid without prior agreement. However, physical attendance can only take place under the following conditions:

 

There is limited space in the Legal Aid's waiting room and a limited number of advisers.

You must anticipate waiting time.

Opening hours are 19.00 - 21.00 (Friday only until 20.00).

 

For everyone who attends, the following applies:

 

  • You must bring the case documents and if possible your MitID

Copenhagen Legal Aid is situated a few hundred meters from the Central Station and the Town Hall Square. The 2A busline stops very close to the Legal Aid.

Note that Copenhagen Legal Aid does not have separate parking.

​

Copenhagen Legal aid's premises are located on the 1st and 2nd floor. Wheelchair users and heavily handicapped people can get help using the elevator. However, you must have a helper yourself, as the Legal Aid staff usually can not leave the premises. Please contact the counter on the 1st floor to be assisted to get access the elevator.

You can call the Legal Aid from 19.00. Note, however, that the Legal Aid has limited resources and it may therefore be difficult to reach us over the phone early in the evening.
 
We therefore recommend that you visit us in person - if so, please remember to bring all relevant documents and also your NemID, if you have one.

Wednesday before Easter, the Friday after Ascension Day, 1 May, Constitution Day (5 June), St Hans Eve (23 June), and 23-31 December. We are also closed on days when national or local elections are held.
