With approximately 200 employees, Copenhagen Legal Aid is the largest legal aid organisation in the country. As an employee, you become part of a large network of current and former employees in the Legal Aid.
We deal with civil cases concerning, among other things, tenant law, family law, inheritance law, contract law, including consumer law, social law and foreigner law, etc. We provide verbal advice, correspond with counterparties to try to settle cases, but also apply for free court procedures and bring civil actions.


Requirements for the Legal Aid's volunteer advisors
- Having obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree.
- Solid legal understanding and an eagerness to strengthen both your theoretical and practical application of the law.
- The ability to dedicate a fixed weeknight to attend the Legal Aid - every week, even during exam time, and when competing with football on TV or a fun party with friends.
- High level of responsibility, curiosity to learn both about the law and being responsible for your own portfolio of clients and cases, strategic thinking, argumentation technique, strong written communication, as well as the ability to communicate with all types of people and to solve problems you have never tried before.
In return, we offer
